Information Confidentiality
- The computer security characteristic that makes sure individuals are given access to computer resources based on security clearance and need-to-know. This characteristic protects against compromise and inadvertent disclosure.
- A concept that applies to data that must be held in confidence and that describes the status and degree of protection that must be provided for individuals or organizations.
